Community Giving

The voluntary Community Giving Program makes up the largest portion of our school’s fundraising efforts.  Each year, families are invited to pledge an annual or monthly amount; these funds are applied directly to staffing and classroom supply costs.  Historically, the Community Giving Program has contributed $120,000 - $150,000+ to our school’s budget, essential for supporting programs such as music, art, movement and world language - offerings that would not be possible based on state-funding alone.

Stone Bridge School does not charge fees for enrollment and is not a fee-for-participation program.  Our Community Giving Program is and has always been based on voluntary donations.  Participation in the Community Giving Program is not mandatory and your child’s enrollment will NOT be affected by your participation in this program.   

Community Giving contributions, however small, also demonstrate a united commitment amongst our families and friends when seeking grants by letting potential benefactors know that our immediate community contributes strong support for public Waldorf education.
