About The Food
Ingredients: All the ingredients we use in our lunches are fresh, organic, non-GMO and locally produced. Our mission is to supply 100% of the fruit and vegetables served in our Farm Lunches through our certified organic school farm.
Menus: Simply put, the menu is focused primarily around the seasonal fruit and vegetables our students grow and harvest here at school. Period. We strive to offer gluten free options whenever possible as well.
Zero Waste. Really, Truly!
Students are asked to bring their own reusable plate or bowl & napkin from home, which they will then bring back home to be washed afterwards. We recommend an 8-9 inch plate. Absolutely no consumable products (compostable or otherwise) are used in serving our Farm Lunch; no compostable spoons, bowls, plates or cups. All food scraps will be composted on our school farm, or through the Napa County Recycling program.
